Ben Stiller Slams White House for Using 'Tropic Thunder' Clip: 'War Is Not a Movie'
Ben Stiller has become the latest celebrity to publicly condemn the White House’s usage of one of his projects.
On Thursday (March 5), the White House shared a video edit to X that included a mashup of various films, with the caption, “JUSTICE THE AMERICAN WAY. ????????????”

Among the many clips featured was Tropic Thunder, in which Ben directed, co-wrote, starred in, and produced.
“Hey White House, please remove the Tropic Thunder clip. We never gave you permission and have no interest in being a part of your propaganda machine. War is not a movie,” the actor responded in a quoted post.
Earlier this week, the Donald Trump administration was slammed for using a song by Kesha in a video. The artist also spoke out against them using her song.
