Jamie O’Hara has pointed his finger at Tottenham’s ownership as the Lilywhites teeter on the edge of the relegation zone.
In his first press conference as Tottenham head coach, Igor Tudor confidently asserted that Spurs will not go down.
However, just three games into his tenure, those words now look almost silly, with the North Londoners now just a point from the drop zone.
Spurs’ 3-1 loss to Crystal Palace came as a huge blow in a week where West Ham beat Fulham, and Nottingham Forest held Man City to a draw.
O’Hara blames Tottenham’s ‘disgusting recruitment’
O’Hara did not mince his words while reacting to Tottenham’s third London derby loss in a row.
The pundit suggested that the Spurs owners deserve what is happening to them after failing to do the needful in the January window.
The pundit wrote on X: “The owners deserve this, disgrace of a season in every way, disgusting performances, disgusting recruitment, disgusting running of a football club, January window we signed absolute garbage. This is the worst I’ve ever seen this football club.”
Spurs’ January lack of transfers now looks negligent
Tottenham fans were fuming at the club’s January business, with Spurs only deciding to sign Conor Gallagher and Souza despite being in the middle of an injury crisis.
Johan Lange explained that the calibre of players Spurs wanted were not available in January and hinted that the club chose to keep their powder dry for a big summer window.
However, that strategy may now backfire spectacularly as Tottenham may find themselves in the Championship next season.
