Devin Booker returns, helps steer Suns past Kings

Jalen Green scored 20 points and Devin Booker returned from a four-game absence to help the Phoenix Suns post a 114-103 victory over the host Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night.

Grayson Allen scored 18 points off the bench while Collin Gillespie made five 3-pointers and registered 17 points, nine assists and six rebounds for the Suns. Booker, back from a hip injury, sank four treys while adding 17 points and six assists.

Oso Ighodaro had 14 points and 14 rebounds as Phoenix finished off a four-game season sweep of the Kings.

Maxime Raynaud scored 22 points on 10-of-12 shooting and collected 10 rebounds for the Kings, who lost for the 19th time in the past 21 games.

Precious Achiuwa added 18 points and nine rebounds, DeMar DeRozan scored 17 points, Russell Westbrook had 16 points and seven assists and Malik Monk scored 13 points off the bench for Sacramento.

Phoenix made 45.7% of its field-goal attempts and hit 19 of 49 (38.8%) from 3-point range. The Suns held a 53-40 rebounding advantage.

The Kings connected on 45.6% of their shots, including 7 of 27 (25.9%) from behind the arc.

Westbrook drained a 3-pointer to tie the score at 60 just 59 seconds into the second half, and he later scored on a layup to give Sacramento a 63-62 edge.

Gillespie and O'Neal both connected on two treys during Phoenix's ensuing 14-0 spurt that opened up a 76-63 lead midway through the quarter.

Allen drilled a 3-pointer to make it a 17-point lead in the final minute of the quarter, and the Suns eventually took a 90-75 lead into the fourth.

Ighodaro's dunk made it 99-79 with 9:19 remaining, but Sacramento made a push later in the period. DeRozan's three-point play and four straight points by Nique Clifford brought the Kings within 108-96 with 4:30 remaining.

Booker drained a 3-pointer to give the Suns a 16-point with 3:12 left. The Kings ran off the next seven points, the last four by Raynaud, to move within 112-103 with 1:23 left.

Booker fed Mark Williams for a thunderous dunk with 30.8 seconds left as Phoenix closed it out.

Booker scored 14 first-half points to help the Suns hold a 59-55 halftime advantage. Achiuwa had 16 in the half for Sacramento.
