Supercomputer predicts where Tottenham will finish in Premier League after Fulham defeat

We take a look at the Opta Supercomputer’s revised Premier League predictions following Tottenham’s latest defeat.

Tottenham fell to yet another Premier League defeat on Sunday, this time in a London derby away at Fulham.

There was almost nothing redeeming about their performance, and Igor Tudor admitted that it was simply not good enough from his side.

The Croat now likely realises that he faces a monumental challenge, with Tottenham not looking like they can buy a win at the moment.

Tottenham’s Premier League finish predicted by Opta

Despite their continued struggles in the Premier League, Opta’s Supercomputer does not expect Spurs to finish any lower than they currently sit.

The data analysis platform expects Tottenham to end the season with an estimated 42.05 points, which they predict would be enough for the club to secure 16th place.

West Ham are expected to finish 18th with 35.12 points, just behind Nottingham Forest in 17th, with 38.26 points.

Can Spurs get to the magic 40-point mark?

Tottenham need another three wins and two draws from their 10 remaining matches to get to the magic 40-point mark, which usually guarantees safety.

At this point, however, it is difficult to see where Spurs’ next win is going to come from, with the Lilywhites yet to win a Premier League match in 2026.

The one saving grace for Tottenham is the fact that Forest and the Hammers are both struggling as well, and the likelihood is that around 35 or 36 points would be enough for safety.
