Milwaukee Just Released Its First Click Torque Wrenches
Milwaukee just expanded its collection of mechanics tools with a new line of click torque wrenches that target professional mechanics and serious home auto mechanics. The premium tool brand just launched 1/4 inch, two 3/8 inch, and a 1/2 inch torque wrenches, all of which will be available for purchase in March. They'll range in price from $220 to $280, depending on the model.
The 3/8 inch models come in 20-110 ft. lb. and 50 to 250 ft. lb. options. The 1/4-inch model has a range of 40-200 in.lbs, while the 1/2-inch drive torque wrench covers 50-250 ft.lbs. Each torque wrench features a high 90 tooth count design, giving the wrenches a shorter swing arc than the typical 72 tooth count torque wrenches we typically see. This means you can work them in tighter spots.
Each torque wrench also uses a lock collar, which makes dialing in torque settings quick and easy. Measurements are given in both inch pounds and newton meters and printed in gold laser etching, so they're easy to spot and won’t wear off over time. They're also well made with accuracy to within 3 percent, all metal construction and knurled metal handles.
Each Milwaukee torque wrench comes with a hard plastic storage case, protecting them when they're not in use.
