The new terminal building at Guwahati airport, a Rs 4,000-crore project, will open its doors on February 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the facility in December. This world-class gateway signifies a connected Assam. Both domestic and international flights are expected to operate from the new terminal by March. The old terminal will be repurposed as a cargo hub.
