‘Hurt feelings report’ filed by Gavin Newsom, the ‘clown’
Gavin Newsom, the far-left governor in California who just sent $90 million from his state’s taxpayers to abortionists at Planned Parenthood, has run his state deeply into debt and apparently wants to do the same for the nation as president after 2028, has beclowned himself again.
He previously claimed that he hadn’t even heard of the leftist agitators storming a church in Minnesota over the surge in federal law enforcement officers addressing rampant illegal alien criminal activity there.
Now he’s claiming that being called “historically illiterate” is being insulted over dyslexia.
The RedState online publication turned immediately to mockery, “‘Clown’: Gavin Newsom files hurt feelings report,” it charged.
Ted Cruz calling a dyslexic person illiterate is a new low, even for him. https://t.co/XC75ybiGKd

“Newsom is apparently thoroughly historically illiterate,” explained Sen. Ted Cruz, criticizing the governor over his lack of knowledge about historical events in the United States, including those of the civil rights movement.
“He said we’ve never seen National Guard federalized in the states. I guess his history book does not discuss the civil rights movement. He’s never heard of a president named Dwight D. Eisenhower. He’s never heard of sending the National Guard in to southern states when Democrats who refused to desegregate schools resisted, Eisenhower sent the National Guard in…”
Newsom’s reaction was a non-sequitur, even for him.
He stated, “Ted Cruz calling a dyslexic person illiterate is a new low, even for him.”
I didn’t say you couldn’t read, you
I said you were “historically illiterate”…
….because you apparently have no idea that Eisenhower federalized the national guard to stop Dem governors from defying federal law.
Specifically, on September 23, 1957, President Eisenhower… https://t.co/63z3botBKs

But Cruz went ahead and explained to Newsom: “I didn’t say you couldn’t read, you I said you were ‘historically illiterate’… ….because you apparently have no idea that Eisenhower federalized the national guard to stop Dem governors from defying federal law. Specifically, on September 23, 1957, President Eisenhower issued Executive Order 10730, federalizing the Arkansas National Guard & ordering U.S. Army troops (101st Airborne Div) to Little Rock, Arkansas. This action broke the blockade by Dem Gov Orval Faubus, allowing the Little Rock Nine to desegregate Central High School.”
Newsom’s disconnect from the facts even earned him a “Readers added context” to his comments on X, with, “Senator Cruz did not refer to Governor Newsom’s ability to read but rather his knowledge of history. Historically illiterate refers to knowledge of history…”
RedState commented, “California Gov. Gavin Newsom has perhaps been the most high-profile Democrat openly putting out feelers for a potential 2028 run, admitting in October that he was ‘looking at’ the possibility, though it had been obvious for four years or so with his cross-country tours and his visits overseas to establish national and international profiles.
“But though Newsom would have a majority of Americans believe he can leap tall Trump buildings in a single bound, apparently, he’s not man enough to accept someone correctly describing him as ‘historically illiterate,’ which we learned Monday afternoon via a tweet he wrote complaining that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was supposedly making fun of his dyslexia.”
The report said, “It’s all Democrats ever do anymore – claim victimhood and file Hurt Feelings Reports, which to them are supposed to be substitutes for substantive debates on the issues. … In any event, methinks the Golden State governor has sort of just proven the old saying about how it is ‘better for people to think you’re a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt,’ bless his heart.”
WorldNetDaily previously reported when Newsom claimed ignorance of perhaps the biggest U.S. news story happening at the time.
It was in January when anti-ICE activists stormed into Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, frightening Christians who were there to worship Jesus and terrifying the children there.
Newsom said he had “no idea” about the event which made national news headlines for four consecutive days.
At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Newsom was asked by a reporter: “Quick question. You mentioned Minneapolis. Any comment on this Don Lemon charging those guys into the church like that?”
“I literally,” Newsom began. “It’s funny, someone mentioned Don Lemon and Trump the other day … No idea what that’s about.”
The reporter noted: “It’s a big, viral story. He had a bunch of agitators. They ran into some kind of church.”
Newsom responded: “Don Lemon? Into a church? I literally know nothing about it.”
