Evan Roderick is one of Hallmark Channel’s rising stars and you can watch him in this year’s Valentine’s Day movie Because of Cupid.
The 30-year-old actor has starred in many projects for Hallmark, including the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries series and the recent three-part movie series Providence Falls.
You might also know him from the Netflix series Spinning Out or his work on The CW’s Arrow. Evan also has many other talents as he’s a former professional hockey player and he’s even a musician.

Evan is married to actress Dion Karas!
Evan and Dion first started sharing photos together on social media in November 2022, though it’s unclear when they first started dating. The couple got engaged in October 2024. Dion wrote on Instagram at the time, “10/19 heart is full!! thank you for being you ♥️.”
Evan revealed the marriage news in an interview with Swooon. He was asked what makes him swoon and he responded, “My wife. My wife makes me swoon, but if it was 2015, Jennifer Lawrence, probably. But that’s about it. No more. I’m a married man.”
He also revealed that Dion‘s birthday is the day after Valentine’s Day!
“I can’t drop the ball because my wife’s birthday is February 15th,” he said. “So it’s like I got to make the 14th special, and now I’ve got two days in a row celebrate.”
Dion has most recently been seen in an episode of Showtime’s Yellowjackets and an episode of Apple TV’s Smoke.
