Melissa McCarthy is in a hilarious Super Bowl commercial this year!
The 55-year-old Bridesmaids actress stars in E.l.f.‘s 2026 Super Bowl commercial, airing Sunday (February 8).
The telenovela-style ad finds the comedian learning to roll her Rs while preparing for “the world’s biggest reggaeton show,” referring to Bad Bunny‘s halftime show performance.

When she realizes she can’t speak Spanish, she crashes her car and wakes up in a fake telenovela, called Melísa, starring The Good Doctor‘s Nicholas Gonzalez.
She says hilarious incorrect things like “yo soy un baño” (“I am a bathroom”) until the doctor assists her with “juicy lips” to roll her Rs the help of e.l.f’s Glow Revolver Lip Oil.
A jealous doctor also appears, played legendary telenovela villain Itatí Cantoral, perhaps best known as Soraya Montenegro in María la del Barrio.
“The goal is to be funny and celebrate the Latin community,” e.l.f.’s Kory Marchisotto explained to ADWEEK.
“We’re deeply embedded in celebrating the Latin community. This is a community that has been a huge part of our journey, and we’ve been celebrating them through a series of beats. This was an easy one for us to say ‘yes’ to when Bad Bunny threw down the challenge.”
They also threw in some references in the ad.
“The plastic chair, which brings communities together; the sombrero, which is specifically shaped like Bad Bunny’s pava; and then Itatí, who is telenovela royalty. They have everything in there to show them that this is a celebration of their culture.” Watch above!
