Tottenham owners will hate the result of the latest THST fan satisfaction survey
The result of the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust’s (THST) latest survey shows that the fans are even less satisfied with the ownership right now than they were when Daniel Levy was in charge.
After Levy was ousted in the summer and a new leadership group took charge of the North London club, all the right noises were made in the media.
It was widely reported that the Lewis family were committed to ushering in a new era where on-pitch success would be prioritised.
However, many Tottenham fans have been left frustrated with the club’s January transfer window, which they felt did not live up to the ambitious rhetoric coming out from N17.
THST survey shows Tottenham fans are extremely displeased with the owners
THST have now released the findings of their Five Principles Survey, which is conducted roughly every six months.
The survey judges the Tottenham ownership against five tests, which the Trust agreed with the board of the club itself.
More than 4,500 fans responded to this survey, and in all five tests, the fans gave the owners the lowest scores that have been recorded since the survey began.
Here are the ratings that Tottenham’s owners got out of 10 in each of the five categories:
- Commit to Winning: 1.65
- Attract and Retain Talent: 1.94
- Future-Proof Success: 2.96
- Lead with Integrity: 2.2
- Fans First: 1.9
The Trust says the owners’ performance is unacceptable
The Trust pointed out that the scores have fallen drastically in each of the categories in what was the first Five Principles Survey since Levy’s departure and the shake-up in the club’s hierarchy.
They added that the verdict of the supporters is clear on the new leadership group’s performances, insisting that the scores were unacceptable.
Their statement reads: “These scores represent an all-time low in supporter confidence in the club’s ownership. Not one of the five principles comes close to an acceptable level, and every area has deteriorated significantly since last summer. Even the Europa League success of 2025 provided only a temporary uplift. Supporters are now judging the ownership on long-term strategy, squad quality, competitiveness, and delivery – and the verdict is clear.
“Fans want success that is sustainable, credible, and ambitious. They want a club that matches its world-class infrastructure with world-class decision-making, and that genuinely puts supporters at the heart of its future. Whilst the club acknowledges that it cannot exist without its supporters, the actions it has taken in the past have not always been commensurate with this statement.
“We ask that the club follows through this commitment in its interactions with supporters at all levels. Every communication should be considered through the lens of supporters to ensure they feel that they play a vital role in the success of the football club.”
