Swatch Nines Surf & Skate Back in Waco, October 8-10 - Public Day Added

Waco Surf in Texas will host the third installment of Swatch Nines Surf & Skate from the 8th to the 10th of October. You'd best book your trip as this one is a doozey every year. You've seen our coverage of them right?

If you can make it to Japan, or if you'll already be there, in April, the Swatch Nines Snow event will have skateboarding integrated into it:

This spring, Swatch Nines will make its much-anticipated debut on the Asian continent. Niseko Tokyu Grand HIRAFU plays host as the Nines brings its unique formula to Japan. The vision: scenic views of Mt. Yotei as the backdrop for a flowy setup that blurs the lines between slopestyle, big air and halfpipe, while an integrated skate section keeps the cross-disciplinary juices flowing. A Public Day on Saturday, April 11th, invites spectators to watch the athletes throw it down.

There's a bike event in Austria in June, but the grandaddy of the calendar is when we all go down and mess with Texas:

Last year’s rowdy Surf event saw a variety of never-been-dones, so what’s in store for 2026? Back at Waco Surf for the third-year running, Nines Surf & Skate will continue to bring new creative energy to the world’s original action sport. An accompanying skateboard setup broadens the spectrum, while for the first time, the public will be invited to come and watch the action during a Public Day on Saturday, October 10th.
