Why Thomas Frank ‘remains in critical danger’ despite temporary Tottenham reprieve
Thomas Frank is not out of the woods yet despite being given a temporary reprieve by the Tottenham hierarchy.
Following Tottenham’s loss to West Ham, it was widely reported that Thomas Frank was in grave danger of losing his job.
However, the 52-year-old lives to fight another day after the club’s board decided to allow him to take charge of the team for the Champions League clash against Dortmund.
In his press conference on Monday, Frank vowed to come out fighting despite having his back against the wall, and it has now emerged that the Dane is far from safe yet.

The Telegraph say that Frank remains in ‘critical danger’ of losing his job despite being given the stay of execution ahead of this evening’s clash.
The 52-year-old’s future is not thought to be secure beyond the Champions League clash against Dortmund.

He is still expected to be sacked if the results do not improve, as the Spurs supporters continue to make vociferous calls calling for him to leave.
Should Tottenham make the decision to part ways with Frank, the expectation is that the club will appoint an interim head coach for the time being before settling on a permanent appointment in the summer.
Who will make the final decision on Frank’s future?
The Telegraph say that while the Lewis family will have the final say on Frank’s future, any decision will not solely be made by the club’s owners.
It will be collectively made by the board and based on the recommendations of CEO Vinai Venkatesham, non-executive chairman Peter Charrington, operations and finance director Matthew Collecott, independent director Jonathan Turner and non-executive director Eric Hinson.
The opinion of Johan Lange will also be considered, but fellow sporting director, Fabio Paratici, will not have a say as he is on his way out of the club.
