It’s a mess
Hello Friends,
No surfin’ today at Dee Why. 15-25 kts of SE wind and frequent showers combined with 3-4 metres of 10-second east swell to make for big, out of control and generally unattractive conditions.
From the look of this morning’s swell models, tomorrow’s going to be a slightly smaller version of today. And it could be mid-week at the earliest before the wind backs off significantly.

Weather Situation
Strong southeasterly winds are expected along the NSW coast from a trough and embedded low pressure system pinned to the coast. The trough and low is forecast to track north and weaken during today. Then, a high pressure system will move into the south Tasman Sea, maintaining fresh to strong southeasterly winds over coastal waters in the new week.
