Super Bowl Concert Guide: 14 cool shows to see before the big game

There’s a lot more than just football happening during Super Bowl week in the Bay Area.

For every first down, dropped pass and extra point scored by the two teams battling it out Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, there will be at least as many hot guitar leads, cool drum beats and hit songs delivered during the many Super Bowl-related concerts taking place Feb. 5-7 at multiple music venues in the Bay Area.

The music ranges from country to pop to hip-hop, with plenty of big-name performers in the mix.

Here is a look at the Super Bowl week concert top offerings and how you can get in on all the tuneful fun. Note: A number of these concerts are already sold out, but tickets may still be offered through version secondary markets like stubhub.com.

Thursday, Feb. 5:

Benson Boone

The career of this “American Idol’ alum — who competed briefly on the 2021 season of the TV talent show before withdrawing voluntarily — has been absolutely skyrocketing since releasing the chart-topping single “Beautiful Things” in 2024.

The pop star’s first full-length, 2024’s “Fireworks & Rollerblades,” was a platinum-selling success. And the follow-up, last year’s “American Heart,” will likely reach those heights as well, propelled in part by the hit single “Mystical Magical.”

Boone is also an incredibly popular concert attraction, having drawn rave reviews for his songs (and backflips) at last year’s big BottleRock Napa Valley festival.

Shaboozey, a multiple-Grammy-nominated hip-hop/country artist, is also on the bill.

Fall Out Boy

The Pride of Wilmette, Illinois performed a show at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco just prior to the last Super Bowl — Super Bowl 50 — held at Levi’s Stadium. Ten years later, both the Super Bowl and Fall Out Boy are back at the exact same respective spots.

The Regency ranks as a very intimate venue for Fall Out Boy, the alt-rock outfit led by vocalist-guitarist Patrick Stump and known for such hits as “This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race,” “Thnks fr th Mmrs” and “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up).”

It’s a Wells Fargo-sponsored event, with tickets only being made available to Wells Fargo credit cardholders.

Noah Kahan

Kahan had a huge 2025 in terms of Bay Area gigs, having both headlined the BottleRock Napa Valley festival and performed during the NBA All-Star Weekend Concert Series.

Now, Kahan — known for such songs as “Stick Season,” “Dial Drunk,” “Northern Attitude” and “You’re Gonna Go Far” — is coming back to perform a Super Bowl week gig for SiriusXM and Pandora.

Tickets aren’t being sold, but rather given out to contest winners. In order to enter for the chance to win a pair of ducats to the gig, fans need to visit https://siriusxmpandorapresentnoahkahan.splashthat.com/.

Those who aren’t fortunate to win tickets can still listen to the show, which will streamed in its entirety on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation (ch. 36) on 8 p.m. Feb. 7.

Friday, Feb. 6:

Sting

It should be a real treat to see this Rock and Roll Hall of Famer — who was enshrined as a member of the mighty Police back in 2003 — perform in such an intimate theater setting.

Hopefully, the vocalist-bassist will play plenty of cuts from his Police songbook — and, in that regard, our wish list would certainly include such early favorites as “So Lonely,” “Can’t Stand Losing You” and, of course, “Roxanne.”

Yet, we’d fine with pretty much anything Sting has to offer, even if it means “Russians” makes the setlist. (In full transparency, however, we should add that any performance of “Russians” will be utilized for a bathroom run.)

Post Malone

Having just headlined the home of the San Francisco Giants — Oracle Park — in 2025, Posty returns to the City by the Bay for a big Super Bowl gig at Fort Mason.

He’s the main attraction at the Bud Light Presents Post Malone & Buddies concert, which is the latest big game collaboration between the Post man and the beer brand.

“Getting back on the Bud Light stage during Super Bowl weekend is like coming home,” says Malone, who performed at the Bud Light Super Bowl gig before the game was held in early 2025. ”I love it! We’ve got something really special planned for this year!”

Fans must win tickets from Bud Light (see info below) to attend.

Kehlani

The Oakland hip-hop/pop/R&B talent headlines the Big Game Block Party at San Jose City Hall.

Kehlani initially rose to fame as a member of the group PopLyfe on the TV competition “America’s Got Talent” in 2011, before striking out on her own and achieving even more success.

Kehlani has received several Grammy nominations over the years. And she’s up for two more Grammys — both for the song “Folded” — at this year’s award show.

Shaq’s Funhouse

Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal — who is also a DJ/rapper who arguably gave the worst performance in the storied history of the Outside Lands festival — returns to the Bay Area to host the eighth annual Shaq’s Fun House.

This Super Bowl pre-party is described in a news release as a “larger-than-life spectacle that’s part festival, carnival, and circus.”

The Fun House features musical performances by T-Pain, Tiësto and Disco Linestakes — but hopefully not Shaq himself.

Martin Garrix

He’s one of the most highly acclaimed EDM artists on the planet. Notably, he was ranked No. 1 for three consecutive years — 2016-2018 — on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list.

Garrix’s best-known singles include “Animals,” “In the Name of Love” and “Scared to Be Lonely.”

He’ll be joined at the show by Belgian DJ/producer Lost Frequencies.

Calvin Harris, Diplo

While we’re on the topic of superstar DJs, Calvin Harris certainly qualifies as such and he’ll be taking part in the Super Bowl pre-party festivities in the Bay Area as well.

The Scottish DJ/producer is known for such singles as “Acceptable in the 80s,” “The Girls” and “I’m Not Alone.”

Also on the lineup is Diplo, yet another popular DJ/producer. Besides having his own solo career, Diplo is also the co-creator of the electronic dancehall music troupe Major Lazer.

Saturday, Feb. 7:

Chris Stapleton

The phenomenally popular country crooner is sure to be one of the big highlights of the Super Bowl concerts weekend.

Stapleton is one of the most highly decorated country artists in recent years, having won 11 Grammy Awards, 11 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards and 15 Country Music Association (CMA) Awards. And he could add to that tally on Feb. 1 at the 2026 Grammys, where he’s received four more nominations — best country song (“A Song to Sing” with Miranda Lambert), best country solo performance (“Bad as I Used to Be”) and two nods in the best country duo/group performance category (“A Song to Sing” with Lambert and “Honky Tonk Hall of Fame” with George Strait).

Sierra Ferrell is also on the bill.

Stapleton returns to the Bay Area on July 8 to perform at Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View.

The Killers

The Killers are such a fun live band, one which we’ve seen delight tens of thousands of fans as a headliner at Outside Lands — in both 2014 and 2024 — and at BottleRock Napa Valley in 2018.

So, most definitely, it’s going to be a blast to see this Las Vegas modern rock act — which seems destined to one day be enshrined in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland — perform in a relatively intimate concert venue.

Brandon Flowers is a dynamic frontman and the band has so many good tunes, including the early hits “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me.”

Dom Dolla

The Australian house music DJ/producer is the main musical attraction at the big San Jose Street Party going on at San Jose City Hall on the day before the Super Bowl.

The Grammy-nominated artist is known for such dance tracks as “Be Randy,” “Take It” and “San Francisco” — the latter of which we most certainly hope he plays in honor of the big game being held in the Bay Area.

T-Pain, Sean Paul

It’s R&B & Ribs time. And your hosts for the evening include platinum-plus-certified rapper T-Pain and Jamaican dancehall artist Sean Paul.

T-Pain is known for such singles as “I’m Sprung” and “I’m ‘n Luv (wit a Stripper),” as well as his guest appearances on such hits as Pitbull’s “Hey Baby (Drop It to the Floor)” by Pitbull, Chris Brown’s “Kiss Kiss” and, of course, Flo Rida’s “Low.”

Paul has also seen his share of smash singles, including “Get Busy” and “Temperature.”

Chainsmokers, Ludacris

The cumbersomely titled “SI The Party Presented by DraftKings” is described in a press release as being “widely recognized as one of the weekend’s marquee celebrations — where league owners, franchise executives, athletes and Hollywood’s biggest names gather under one roof.”

Well, if that is indeed the case, then those league owners, franchise executives, athletes and Hollywood’s biggest names will be listening to the Chainsmokers and Ludacris during the 2026 event.

The Chainsmokers are the top name on the bill, boosting a collection of EDM-pop smashes that includes “Closer” and “Don’t Let Me Down.” Yet, the main draw for us would be Ludacris, the multiplatinum-selling rapper behind such outings as 2001’s “Word of Mouf” and 2003’s “Chicken-n-Beer.”

DJ Irie, who is the official DJ of the NBA’s Miami Heat, and rising DJ/producer Xandra will also be performing.
