It doesn't bother me one bit - I've got a couple of fans who follow me around downvoting anything I post - if it gives them joy, great - really not going to make a difference to me, but if people are getting wound up by it, maybe Andy needs to rethink it and change it to 'likes' or just dump it altogether?
or just refer to it as a popularity league
