Police issue warning after Humboldt Park sex assault
Chicago police have issued an alert after a sexual assault in Humboldt Park on Monday.
The attack occurred in the 1400 block of North Lawndale Avenue at 4:25 p.m. when a man forced a woman into an alley and assaulted her, police said.
The suspect was described as male between 25 and 35 years old; 5 foot 5 to 5 foot 10 inches tall; and weighing 160 to 180 pounds He was wearing a gray sweater, dark-colored pants — possibly ripped jeans — black shoes and a dark-colored beanie.
