'Law & Order: SVU' Star Corey Cott Promoted to Series Regular

Actor Corey Cott has been upgraded to a series regular role, according to Deadline. He made his debut on SVU during the second episode of season 27, titled “A Waiver of Consent.”

Previously, Corey appeared in a couple episodes of parent series Law & Order, in seasons 18 and 22.
The 35-year-old star is best known his stage work, having starred in Broadway productions of Newsies, Gigi, Bandstand, The Heart of Rock and Roll, and more.
On television, he’s appeared in shows such as Evil, The Equalizer, Chicago Med, Filthy Rich, and The Good Fight, among others.
