Thomas Frank reveals how often he talks to the Lewis family about Tottenham plans
Thomas Frank has offered an insight into his relationship with Tottenham’s ownership, shedding light on how often communication takes place behind the scenes.
Tottenham Hotspur have made several changes to the club’s structure at the board level as they aim to get the club back on track on the playing pitches.
Vinai Venkatesham has been functioning as the club’s CEO since his appointment back in April, while Fabio Paratici and Johan Lange continue to function as the club’s sporting directors.
The Lewis family have only gone on to strengthen their control of Tottenham following the departure of long-serving club chairman Daniel Levy.
So far, under this new structure, results on the pitch have not improved as Spurs are currently sitting in 14th place in the Premier League table.

Thomas Frank, however, remains the one in charge of the first-team men’s squad and is understood to be in contact with those above him as they work to improve the quality of the squad.
The Spurs squad does indeed need to be strengthened, given the injury crisis they are facing, with the winter window now firmly open.
The Dane has now revealed how often he speaks to those above him, with his comments relayed by football.london.
In a recent press conference, Frank explained that he speaks to the club owners, the Lewis family, “on text or we talk sometimes”, while adding that there has been no planned meeting with them for a “couple of weeks”, but that CEO Vinai Venkatesham is his main port of call at the club, speaking to the former Arsenal executive every other day.
Pressure continues to build on Frank as Spurs close in on winter deal
Frank continues to come under pressure from fans who are not convinced by the Dane, as results on the pitch continue to nosedive.
However, it has been reported that pressure on Frank is mostly external, with those within the club instead choosing to stick with the 52-year-old.
Spurs are now looking to improve their squad this winter window, with £100million available to Frank following a cash injection from the Lewis family and further funds from the sale of Brennan Johnson.
Meanwhile, it is believed that Tottenham are edging closer to their first winter signing, with Fabrizio Romano handing a ‘here we go’ to Spurs’ pursuit of full-back Souza.
