Travis Kelce Addresses Retirement Plans & If He'll Play Another Season with the Chiefs
Travis Kelce is speaking very candidly about his retirement plans and if he’ll be returning to the NFL for another season.
The 36-year-old Super Bowl-winning tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs has officially wrapped up the current season after his team lost to the Las Vegas Raiders on Jan. 4.

According to him, nothing is official just yet. Referring to his final game, which the Chiefs lost, he described it as “a tough way to go out.”
Travis, who has won three Super Bowl rings, is open to returning, but there are some factors at play that will determine if it becomes a reality. He’ll make those decisions after taking some time to rest and recharge.
“And I think, you know, I’ve talked to a few people in the facility already, you know, having the exit meetings and everything, and they know where I stand at least right now,” he said, describing retirement as “a tough thing to navigate.”
What would help inspire him to come back?
“If my body can heal up and rest up and I can feel confident that I can go out there and give it another 18, 20, 21-week run, I think, I would do it in a heartbeat,” he admitted.
The star player won’t make that decision on his own, though. He said that he’ll rely on loved ones to help him figure out what’s next.
If you missed it, Travis does have another big game coming up next month.
