Sophie Turner Says She Liked Her 'Game of Thrones' Ending, But 'No One Else Was Really Happy' with Theirs
Sophie Turner is opening up about the controversial Game of Thrones ending and whether or not she would return to the universe.
She told The Direct that if she were asked to reprise her role of Sansa Stark in a Game of Thrones spinoff she would find it “hard but also amazing to come back to it.”

The 29-year-old actress also joked that her initial reaction would be “show me the money.”
At the end of Game of Thrones, Sansa was crowned Queen of the North. Out of all the characters on the show, she had one of the better endings.
Sophie admitted that she “was very happy with the way Sansa ended her story,” adding, “And no one else was really happy with their ending. I feel like I got a good one, and so I don’t know if I could revisit it.”
In short, she would have to see a script for any kind of Game of Thrones sequel series.
“Maybe it would be an utter joy, or maybe it would be trying to cling on to something that was magic back in the day that can’t be recreated. I would have to see a script,” she said.
Sophie will next star in the Amazon Prime Video series Steal, premiering on January 21.
The Game of Thrones Universe will continue with the third season of House of the Dragon, returning in summer 2026, and new spinoff series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms premiering on January 18.
