Ranchi administration is launching a special drive against over-speeding and drunken driving from December 30 to curb New Year revelry mishaps. Vehicles will be seized, and drivers made to walk. Strict action against eve-teasing and harassment of women is also planned. Enhanced police and magistrate deployment will ensure safety at key locations and picnic spots.
