Copilot+ laptops can now automatically create captions in Word and PowerPoint
Microsoft has announced that Microsoft 365 subscribers with certain Copilot Plus computers will now have access to a new feature: automatic captions, or alt texts, in Word and PowerPoint.
Microsoft
When you add an image to a Word or PowerPoint document, the Copilot Plus computer should automatically generate a caption for it. You can choose to approve the caption directly, or edit it first. You should also be able to generate captions for images that are already in your documents.

The automatic captions should now be available to paying subscribers of Microsoft 365 version 2512 (Build 19530.20006). However, the feature requires the neural processing unit in your Copilot+ computer to be at least 40 TOPS.
