Minister Chadzamira rallies youths to anchor 2030 dream

Minister of State for Masvingo Provincial Affairs and Devolution Ezra Chadzamira has challenged youths to leverage on their dynamism and intellect and anchor Zimbabwe’s march towarss becoming an upper middle income economy by 2030.
Delivering a public lecture organised by the Zimbabwe Congress of Students Union(ZICOSU) at the Reformed Church University on the outskirts of Masvingo City, Minister Chadzamira spoke of brigher days ahead with students at the centre of the socio-economic renaissance.
The minister rallied students to be the fulcrum of a knowledge-based economy predicated on research and innovation.
“We stand at a pivotal moment in our nation’s journey,”said Minister Chadzamira.
“Thw vision of a knowledge-based,prosperous and empowered upper middle income society by 2030 is not a distant dream,it is a goal within our reach.”
The Masvingo Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution said ,” at the very heart of achieving this vision( 2030) lies the dynamism,intellect and unwavering commitment of our students.”
He challenged thew down the gauntlet to the nation’s students saying innovation and critical thinking are key pillars that anchor a knowledge-based economy.
According to Minister Chadzimira, students are supposed to ride on the heritage-based 5.0 model being advanced by the Second Republic under President Mnangagwa and transform research and innovation into drivers of socio-economic growth.
The minister challenged tertiary institutions in Masvingo such as the Reformed Church University to found industrial parks predicated on their respective niches.
Minister Chadzamira told RCU students that President Mnangagwa’s adminstration has created financial institutions such as Empower Bank and others to provide capital mainly for enterprising youths to finance their projects.Chadzamira rallies youths to anchor 2030 dream
