Florence Pugh has taken on some challenging roles over the years. However, there’s one that she doesn’t think she’ll ever be able to replicate for her health.
During a recent interview, the 29-year-old We Live In Time actress opened up about learning how to take care of herself while acting. She added that she’d “given too much” to previous roles, which left her “broken for a long time afterwards.”
She then provided an example, saying that she “can’t do” something like it again in the future.

“Protecting myself is something I’ve had to learn how to do,” she explained on the Reign with Josh Smith podcast.
For example, she said, “Like when I did Midsommar, I definitely felt like I abused myself in the places that I got myself to go to, which is the nature of figuring these things out is you need to go, ‘All right, well, I can’t do that again, cause that was too much.’”
“I’m proud of what came out of me,” she said about the movie. “I don’t regret it. But there’s definitely things that you have to respect about yourself, and that’s something that I really admired.”
