After dazzling in a gold gown at the Golden Globes on Sunday, Mikey Madison sported an edgy, all-black look at the National Board of Review Gala in New York City yesterday.
The “Anora” star donned an asymmetric black dress crafted from silk satin and chiffon, a custom design courtesy of Louis Vuitton. The long-sleeve gown featured an angular neckline that exposed her left shoulder, a draped bodice and waist, and a floor-length skirt with a subtle train that she held onto during the red carpet.
As for shoes, the Oscar-nominated actress wore silky black sandals that were mostly hidden by her dress as she posed for photos. The romantic style boasted a rounded toe with a strap that got thicker at the edges. Madison, who received the Breakthrough Performance Award last night, showcased a classic French pedicure.
The “Better Things” alum, 25, accessorized simply with a pair of sparkling diamond earrings and a bold ring. Outside of the New York venue, Madison was seen topping off her look with a chic navy Louis Vuitton overcoat.
Madison has been having a huge breakout year and thus, has hit the red carpet in some of the fashion industry’s top brands, from Prada to Celine to Schiaparelli. This also isn’t the first time she’s worn a dress from Louis Vuitton women’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière. Meanwhile, her gold Golden Globes dress was custom Bottega Veneta.
Madison has been working with renowned celebrity stylist Jamie Mizrahi, whose other notable clients include Adele, Jeremy Allen White, Jennifer Lawrence, Riley Keough, and Hannah Einbinder. Mizrahi has also dressed Madison in looks from Miu Miu, Chanel, and vintage Christian Dior by John Galliano. Notably, she wore black satin Ferragamo pumps inspired by styles from the 1920s for the 2024 Golden Globes First-Time Nominee Luncheon last month.
The annual National Board of Review Awards honors the year’s top achievements in the film industry ahead of the Oscars. Elle Fanning and Michelle Yeoh were also on hand, and Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo received the creative collaboration award for “Wicked.”
