NEW YORK (PIX11) – If you’re making plans this weekend you want to prepare for some snow.
Forecasters from the National Weather Service project that the tri-state could see another round of snowfall Friday night into Saturday morning.
Although snow is likely for the five boroughs, New Yorkers will likely see an inch or less of coverage.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather alert for Saturday and warns drivers to expect winter driving conditions.
The snow comes amid blistering cold blowing through the tri-state this week bringing wind chill values in the teens to lower 20s.
