News has broken in France regarding a huge development regarding Randal Kolo Muani’s future after Paris Saint-Germain received an offer for the striker.
It has been widely reported that Kolo Muani is seeking to leave PSG after struggling for game time so far this season, with Tottenham named as one of his potential destinations.
In fact, a few outlets have claimed over the past few weeks that the Lilywhites have even made contact with the striker’s entourage regarding a move to N17.
Meanwhile, it was revealed by David Ornstein on Monday that Spurs have identified the 26-year-old as their top target for their forward line this month.
It has now been reported by Telefoot that Monaco have become the first club to launch an offer for the Frenchman this month.
The report claims that the Ligue 1 side sent a straight loan offer to PSG without an option to buy, but the bid was quickly sent back by the Parisians.
The publication adds that Aston Villa, Manchester United, RB Leipzig, AC Milan, and Juventus remain interested in Kolo Muani, but interestingly, Tottenham are not mentioned in the report.
The information doing the rounds over recent weeks has been that PSG are open to sending the striker out on loan this month.
Perhaps this rejected offer from Monaco confirms that the French giants want an obligation, or at least an option to buy attached to any loan deal.
It could also simply mean that they did not want to strengthen a domestic rival and would be more receptive to offers from the Premier League.
