Hisense revealed its latest advancements during its CES 2025 press conference Monday morning with David Gold, VP of Hisense International and president of Hisense Americas, highlighting the incredible growth Hisense experienced year-over-year in the large-screen market.
“Building a legacy of excellence that stands the test of time requires more than just great products, it demands a global perspective,” said Gold. “Each day hundreds of millions of people worldwide interact with Hisense technology. Whether for commercial businesses, schools, homes, or public infrastructure. This global presence allows us to tap into diverse insights, adapt to regional needs, and deliver innovations that address consumer pain points all over the world.”
Hisense captured 63.4% of the global shipment volume for 100-inch TVs in Q3 of 2024 and was the fastest-growing brand in the 87-inch and above category in the United States.
Expanding on its commitment to top-tier partnerships, Gold also revealed Hisense will be the first partner for the FIFA Club World Cup — the first-ever tournament of its kind hosted in 11 cities across the United States in 2025. CES attendees can see the new tournament trophy on display at the Hisense booth and learn more about Hisense’s new “Own the Moment” campaign.
Hisense introduced the 116-inch TriChroma LED TV (116UX), the only consumer model to use RGB Local Dimming Technology. This development offers unparalleled color precision, vibrancy, and efficiency, not only setting a new benchmark for big-screen TVs but also leading MiniLED into a new era.
The 116-inch TriChroma LED TV (116UX) is powered by Hisense’s flagship Hi-View AI Engine X, a state-of-the-art chipset that drives the precision and brilliance of its RGB Local Dimming Display Technology. This enables real-time optimization of every frame, with AI-driven enhancements like AI Peak Brightness, AI RGB Local Dimming, and AI Banding Smoother.
Dennys Li, president of Hisense Visual Technology, expanded on Hisense’s RGB Local Dimming Display Technology, explaining how it introduces independent red, green, and blue LEDs that generate pure colors directly at the source, producing richer reds, deeper greens, and more vibrant blues with the widest color gamut ever achieved in a MiniLED display.
RGB Local Dimming Display Technology also enhances energy efficiency and viewer comfort, and by only illuminating the LEDs necessary for the displayed content, it reduces power consumption. Moreover, a 38% reduction in blue light emissions without compromising on brightness or clarity lends to longer, more comfortable viewing sessions.
Ondre Clark, director of product marketing, Hisense Americas, spoke to the success of Hisense’s U Series of televisions and introduced the 136MX MicroLED — the brand’s first consumer-ready MicroLED display that features 10,000 nits and a 24.88 million MicroLED chip. “Hisense MicroLED technology opens the door to what’s possible, not just today, but for years to come,” said Clark. “Our goal is to make these premium innovations accessible without compromising on performance.”
Clark also revealed a new Hisense Google TV that also performs as a dynamic display when not in use, integrating into consumers’ homes and lives in ways not possible before.
Hisense’s 116-inch TriChroma LED TV, 136MX MicroLED, and other innovations will be on display at LVCC, Central Hall, Booth 16625.
