THE Masked Singer is back on the box and fans of the guessing game are convinced they’ve already rumbled the identity of Snail.

Despite sharing a selection of clues, so far, the star has managed to keep their identity a secret.
Kicking off the 2025 series in style, Snail took to the stage to sing ‘Espresso’ by Sabrina Carpenter, with a garden themed performance.

Snail also shared a riddle that read: ”I can look rather fancy here standing in lace, but sometimes in my mind, it can be up in space.”
After hearing Snail’s set of clues, Davina McCall believed that presenter Emma Willis was wearing the colourful costume and Jonathan Ross guessed Dame Mary Berry.
Elsewhere on the panel, judge Mo Gilligan predicted Emma Bunton and Love Island star Amber Davies.
Meanwhile, newest recruit Maya Jama guessed BBC Royal Correspondent Jennie Bond.
After welcoming The Masked Singer back to screens, viewers of the hit ITV show believe they might have ‘worked out’ out the identity of Snail.
Writing on X, fans speculated that the singer was in fact Girls Aloud star Cheryl – with the clues pointing towards her cameo in St Trinian’s.
Discussing their latest theories, one viewer said: ”Snail’s voice sounds like Cheryl but it can’t be??!!,” and a second wrote: ”Snail is Cheryl Cole – St Trinian’s (Girls Aloud did music video) and she said Toon not tune.”
This wouldn’t be the first time a member of the girl group has starred on the show, as Nicola Roberts won the first ever series as The Queen Bee.
Following Nicola’s win, stars including Danny Jones, Charlie Simpson and Joss Stone have been crowned champions of the singing show.
Other notable names fans have thrown into the mix include Bridgerton and Derry Girls star Nicola Coughlan.
Much to the delight of telly fans, The Masked Singer is back for 2025.
Sadly for the stars, not all of this year’s whacky and wonderful characters can make make it to the end of the show.
