NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – Give a pint, get a pint.
This month, Van Leeuwen is giving out a free pint of ice cream to people who donate blood.
Blood donations can be made at New York Blood Centers or their traveling blood donation units. Once you donate blood, you’ll get a voucher for a 14-ounce pint of Van Leeuwen ice cream, which can be used at one of their New York City storefronts.
“Every 2 seconds, there is a need for blood in our community, and with no substitute for volunteer donors, we need your help,” representatives of NewYork-Presbyterian said.
