For some of us, this past weekend was about getting everything in tip-top shape so we could return from a holiday break with an empty email inbox and a sunny disposition. For Camila Cabello, it was about making out with her new boyfriend in the ocean.
TMZ published photos of the singer and Henry Junior Chalhoub smooching in the waters of St. Barts over the weekend. According to the outlet, the couple was first spotted together last November at the after-party for an Elie Saab fashion show in Riyadh. If you’re thinking, That seems kind of random, you’d be wrong. Chalhoub’s family runs the Chalhoub Group, the largest luxury retail operator in the Middle East — hence the couple’s initial outing being at a fashion show in Saudi Arabia for which Cabello had been hired to perform. They’re basically co-workers.
So what’s his deal? It’s sort of unclear. He used to date model Joan Smalls; they were spotted vacationing together in 2020 and 2021. In an article about him and Smalls from 2021, the Daily Mail said that Chalhoub was 35, so he’s probably 38 now? And that’s really all I have for you. He doesn’t have a public Instagram or any Getty Image photos; he’s not posting #Hustle content on LinkedIn; and he’s not even on the Chalhoub Group website. It kind of seems like he’s just a rich guy who sort of looks like Christopher Abbott and enjoys taking women on beach vacations. In Cabello’s own words, I luv it.
