Golden Globes 2025: All the Red-Carpet and After Party Dresses and Looks
The 82nd annual Golden Globes started the new awards season with a bang, and that means the first of many red-carpet fashion moments, including spectacular gowns (thank you, Nicole Kidman), great makeup, and a good tuxedo or two.
There were $1 million gift bags for some guests
If there is one thing you can count on for the Golden Globes, it’s an extravagant goodie bags. This year, they are said to include over $1 million worth of stuff, including, for nine recipients, a three-night stay at a beachfront villa in Turks and Caicos valued at $507,492.
Kylie Jenner is at the Golden Globes
While she didn’t walk the red carpet, she sat (smiling) next to Mr. Timothée Chalamet while he got roasted by comedian and host Nikki Glazer. See here.
The red carpet was star-studded, but Jeremy Allen White was missing
Nominees like Zendaya, Ayo Edebiri, Colman Domingo, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Angelina Jolie, Pamela Anderson, Sebastian Stan, Nicole Kidman, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Dakota Fanning, and Cynthia Erivo all walked the red carpet. Jeremy Allen White was absent. And Aubrey Plaza was set to present at the Golden Globes, but her husband, Jeff Baena, tragically died by suicide at age 47 on Friday. She was not in attendance.
Emma Stone debuted a new pixie cut hairdo
Stone wore a red Louis Vuitton dress and paired it with a ’60s pixie cut, à la Twiggy.
Selena Gomez had a Cinderella moment
Gomez described her Prada dress as “Cinderella meets Audrey Hepburn.” She showed up with her fiancé, Benny Blanco.
Timothée Chalamet wore a tiny, little scarf
Chalamet wore Tom Ford and paired his suit with a petit foulard. It set him apart from the Timothée Chalamet look-alike-contest winner (who was also there).
Opera gloves were everywhere on the red carpet
Kerry Washington, Ali Wong, Pamela Anderson, and The Penguin’s Cristin Milioti all wore long gloves.
