After launching his debut Air Force 1 collaboration in December 2024 and previewing another version of the sneaker weeks later, Lil Yachty’s Nike partnership is expected to continue in the new year with the release of yet another style.
This time, it’s the glossy patent leather look worn by the artist during his April ’24 Coachella performance that’s expected to drop soon. The yellow, green and red sneakers have an official colorway of “Lucky Green/Mystic Red/University Gold” and feature a full patent leather upper.
Like his ’24 release, Lil Yachty’s Concrete Boys collective is represented with a stick man logo embroidered on the heel. It’s also possible the upcoming pair features the same “It’s Us” tongue branding, although that detail has yet to be revealed.
The bold patent leather colors seen on Lil Yachty’s “Lucky Green” Air Force 1 echo trends of the 2000s and resemble a colorway Nike (or Japanese brand A Bathing Ape) could have released in the Y2K era.
Lil Yachty’s first Air Force 1 release was not without controversy. It had received critique from some — including an in-person spat with industry veteran Brandon “Bimma” Williams — for what was perceived to be an uninspired colorway. This new patent leather pair, and the potential release of the aforementioned croc style, should be more than enough to satisfy those looking for a more pronounced design.
According to sneakermarket.ro, the new Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Lucky Green” is expected to be released during summer 2025. This story will be updated with confirmed details once they’re announced.
