The 82nd annual Golden Globes are still a few hours away, but the red carpet is beginning to fill as stars from the biggest shows and movies gather together to celebrate. It’s the beginning of a new awards season, and that means the first of many red-carpet fashion moments, including spectacular gowns, (thank you in advance Nicole Kidman) great makeup, and hopefully a good tuxedo or two. You can watch carpet coverage at E! at 6:30 p.m. ET before heading over to CBS or Paramount+ to watch the show at 8 p.m. ET. Here’s everything to know.
Will there be gift bags for the guests?
If there is one thing you can count on for the Golden Globes: It’s an extravagant goodie bags. This year, they are said to include over $1 million worth of stuff, including, for nine recipients, a three-night stay at a beachfront villa in Turks and Caicos valued at $507,492. Other offerings from this year’s bag include a trip to Finland to see the northern lights ($48,000), a “non-surgical stem-cell facelift” ($40,000), and a personalized “dance-focused workout and wellness experience” from Jason Sudeikis’s sister’s fitness studio ($15,000). Will Kylie Jenner be at the Golden Globes?
Yes, The Golden Globes’ Instagram account shared a video teasing the seating chart, and she was sitting next to Mr. Timothée. So it’s highly likely she’ll be in attendance. I’m excited to see how she interacts with the latest (and might I say most unhinged) version of Timothée we’ve seen in a while.
Who will be at the Golden Globes?
Nominees like Zendaya, Ayo Edebiri, Colman Domingo, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Angelina Jolie, Timothée Chalamet, Pamela Anderson, Sebastian Stan, Nicole Kidman, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Dakota Fanning, Cynthia Erivo, and Jeremy Allen White, are all expected to be in attendance. Aubrey Plaza was set to present at the Golden Globes, but her husband, Jess Baena tragically died by suicide at age 47 on Friday. She has not announced if she will be in attendance or not.
