EAST HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) – A man was accused of stabbing and killing a 17-year-old boy in Harlem on Friday, according to the NYPD.
It happened near East 108th Street and 2nd Avenue around 6:15 p.m. A fight broke out after an argument, police said.
Carlos Rivas, 17, was stabbed in the chest and lower abdomen, according to authorities. He was later taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Saul Sanchez, 62, was arrested on Saturday in connection to the stabbing, according to authorities. He was charged with murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
A 22-year-old man and a 62-year-old man were also injured in the fight, police said.
