ROBBIE WILLIAMS can’t wait for the Golden Globes tonight – to show off his new gnashers.
The Let Me Entertain You singer has revealed his delight that millions of fans worldwide will see his new white teeth instead of his “yellow nubs” at the ceremony.
The Stoke-on-Trent star is proud to have swapped his plaque-ridden teeth for a sparkling white set in the summer.
He made his admission while still riding high from being nominated for Best Original Song for Forbidden Road, from his new biopic Better Man.
Robbie, with wife Ayda Field, said: “I have got brand new teeth, so whoever’s about to meet me is about to meet me with brand new American teeth and not the British yellow nubs that I used to have. I am so excited.”
The pair were among the A-listers, including those above, at pre-Golden Globes bash, The Palm Springs International Film Festival, on Friday.
The annual event piggybacks tonight’s main awards in Los Angeles — which takes place in the early hours of tomorrow for us in the UK.
Robbie joked that he is a diva about now being in Hollywood’s sights after three decades of being an unknown.
He said: “I am as excited as anybody else at meeting famous people.
“Honestly, on the evening, there’ll be an 11-year-old inside me going, ‘Oh, guess what? Look who is over there?’
“Yeah. I’ll be super-excited. It’s very exciting. I feel like a brand new artist experiencing new experiences in a brand new time at the end table. It’s fabulous.”
Speaking at the festival’s lunch for first-time Golden Globes nominees, he added: “It is always nice being invited to the party, even though normally I don’t go. But I really wanted to come.
I feel very fortunate to be nominated and very lucky to be invited here.”
The singer recently saw his dream of winning an Oscar crushed amid allegations that Forbidden Road sounded similar to a 1970s entrant.
Academy Award bosses have now officially disqualified the track from the Best Original Song category.
According to Academy Rule 18 Section 1-B, original songs must be written specifically for the film in question.
A letter sent out to Oscar voters confirmed that Forbidden Road “incorporates material from an existing song that was not written for the film”.
And they concluded that it was therefore ineligible for an Oscar and it was removed from the shortlist. Boo.
CYNTHIA Erivo showed off witch-like talons to match her Wicked character, Elphaba.
The star, nominated for Best Performace In A Musical Or Comedy at the Globes, donned a monochrome gown on the red carpet with a plunging white collar.

She collected the International Star gong from Jamie Lee Curtis and wept that her late parents, Janelle and Antony, didn’t get to see her special moment on Friday.
Nicole, nominated at the Golden Globes for best actress in Baby Girl said: “I went home at Christmas. I’ve lost both my parents and I am, like, this is different now. They’ve given me the love and strength to keep moving forward.”
Janelle died in September after a short illness.
Antony had a fatal heart heart attack in 2014.

COMIC Ricky Gervais has urged the new Golden Globes host, comedienne Nikki Glaser, to follow his 2020 presenting approach and roast Hollywood’s biggest stars on stage.
The first female solo host admitted she plans to mock Wicked stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.
Nikki said: “I reached out to Ricky . . . He told me, ‘Just be yourself. You’re not one of them. Don’t try to walk out there acting like you’re an A-lister just because you’re invited. You wouldn’t be if you weren’t the host’.”
Nikki added: “I’m really looking forward to finding the perfect way to skewer Cynthia and Ariana – my goal is to make a joke that they both laugh at.
“Because if they laugh, then the whole room will just break and go, ‘OK let’s all have fun’.”

I can reveal that stunning brunette actress Olivia Hawkins, from Winter Love Island 2023, is making a shock return.
It comes after the one-time Michelle Keegan body double, left, split from her on-screen bloke Maxwell Samuda shortly after the show wrapped.
A source said: “Olivia is really excited to be returning to South Africa and continuing her Love Island journey.
“She feels like she’s got lots to offer still and would love to meet someone. She’s adored the limelight since she first came out of the villa, but would like to find romance.”
Other Love Island stars set to return include Curtis Pritchard and Scott Thomas.
