A FAMILY were knocked flat when they spotted a spider baked into their pizza as they watched the Tyson Fury v Oleksandr Usyk fight.
Colin Johnson, 44, said the creature had been cooked into the toppings of their Pizza Hut treat.
He said: “My wife pulled out the first slice and jumped.
“There was a spider between the slices where it had been cut.
“It was melted into the cheese.
“It had to have been there before it went into the oven.
“No one could believe how big it was. It was definitely a shock.”
Colin, of Southend-on-Sea, Essex, and his family ordered four pizzas to enjoy with the big fight on December 21.
But he says he has been put off Pizza Hut by his experience — and its offer of a £20 voucher by way of apology.
Pizza Hut is investigating the incident but said; “We take food hygiene extremely seriously.”
