LUKE LITTLER became darts’ youngest world champion of all time and £500,000 richer – but all he wanted to do was get to bed.

He said: “Obviously, the cameras are going to be out. I will be spotted. But it’s literally drive home and straight to bed.”
He added: “It’s been crazy. I only had four hours sleep. It’s a case of job done, here in London.
“Now it’s a case of going home and recharging the batteries.”
Manchester United super-fan Littler was congratulated by David Beckham, Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire.
Old Trafford icon Wayne Rooney even cheered the teen superstar on from Ally Pally with wife Colleen and his sons.
And despite getting just a few hours of kip, life as a world champion is finally settling in.
Littler said: “Yeah, it has definitely sunk in. Even on four hours’ sleep. I know that the trophy is mine.”

“I replied to so many people. Then it was a case of going to asleep and getting prepared for today.”
