Angelina Jolie Gets Daughter Zahara's Support at Palm Springs Film Festival Awards After Settling Divorce
Angelina Jolie is joined by Zahara Jolie-Pitt on the red carpet while arriving at the Palm Springs International Film Awards on Friday night (January 3) at Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, Calif.
The actress got her daughter’s support at the annual event just days after it was revealed she settled her divorce with ex Brad Pitt, eight years after they split.
Angelina is in attendance at the ceremony as a recipient, where she will be honored with the Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress for her work in the Netflix movie Maria.
“Maria presents the iconic Angelina Jolie in the role of a lifetime as she embodies Maria Callas, the world-renowned opera legend. Jolie’s extraordinary portrayal captures the heart and complexity of an artist whose life was as captivating as her music,” festival chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi previously shared in a statement. “In honor of her mesmerizing transformation into this groundbreaking yet tragic figure, we are thrilled to present Angelina Jolie with the Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress.”
Earlier in the day, Angelina stepped out for a screening of Maria at the festival, where she could be seen showing off her smile.
