THIS is the shock moment where one contestant on The Traitors claimed to have been compared to a prolific serial killer.
Fans of the smash-hit BBC murder mystery show were were left absolutely stunned by the dramatic confrontation.
BBC One viewers were treated to heated scenes on The Traitors[/caption] The general practitioner was convicted of murdering his patients[/caption]On The Traitors, it came for the nightly banishment and Kasim clashed with Joe, Jake and Alex.
The group brought up the fact that Tyler raised a toast to eliminated contestant Keith and his subsequent reaction.
“After everything I went though yesterday, not in a horrible way but it didn’t feel very nice for them to be standing up in front of the group,”
But Joe then pushed back against his point to say that he was not exactly “blindsided” by the roundtable discussions.
But he continued on his rant to the group as he seemed to take their questioning personally.
“If the fact that you’re voting for me is because I am a nice person or because I’m a doctor and ‘it makes sense’.
“The fact that I have a job is not a reason to vote for me.”
Turning to Jake he then exclaimed: “Literally, you just said, ‘the doctor thing makes sense, you save lives during the day and you kill people by night.’
He added: “So your basically calling me Harold Shipman or something.”
Harold Shipman was the British doctor, who was convicted of murdering his patients.
Dubbed as ‘Dr Death‘, he was sentenced to life in prison for killing an estimated 250 victims.
He was charged with the murders of 15 women by lethal injections of diamorphine between 1995 and 1998.
The rest of the players could not help but recoil in utter horror by his comments as Alex proclaimed: “That’s a bit loaded mate”
Viewers were also left in complete shock by the scenes that unfolded before their eyes as they took to X – formerly known as Twitter.
The Traitors first launched in the UK in 2022, after the Dutch format was acquired by the BBC.

How does it work?
It is a reality game show that involves 22 contestants, and some of them are chosen to be The Traitors.
The Traitors sees a group of contestants taking part in “the ultimate game of truth and deception”.
The group of contestants are competing for the chance to walk away with a huge cash prize.
While navigating through a series of challenges, the team are also tasked with figuring out who the Traitors are in the group (usually three contestants).
Each night, the Traitors gather to “eliminate” one of the Faithful, removing them from the competition
Meanwhile, the traitors can be “banished” if they’re successfully outed as a traitor by a faithful.
The winners of the show are either the Traitor who remains undetected or the Faithfuls if they successfully eliminate all the Traitors.
The prize sees the winner could get £120K.
One fan exclaimed: “The Harold Shipman comment has sent me into orbit omfg
“So basically you are calling me Harold Shipman” That got dark very quickly.”, stated another fan.
As a third noted: “Harold Shipman? J**** that escalated.”
While a fourth stated: “Harold Shipman comparisons, sister turning on sister, Linda somehow surviving, the rise of Minah, the downfall of Armani…I have no words.”
And a fifth excitedly added: “THE HAROLD SHIPMAN ACCUSATION OHMYGOD.”
