A weak upper-level disturbance moves through the area tonight giving us the chance of light showers across the region. Temperatures will fall into the mid-50s.
Clearing out for tomorrow with mostly sunny skies returning. Highs will reach the upper 60s.
Cool on Saturday with clouds increasing once again. After a morning start in the upper 40s, temperatures will rise into the lower 60s during the afternoon. A few light showers will be possible on Saturday.
Warm front lifts north on Sunday, leading to a sharp warmup. Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 70s with increasing southerly winds. Storm chances increase late Sunday with the chance of a few stronger storms.
The Arctic front moves through Monday, with temperatures dropping to near the freezing mark Monday morning. Highs will only reach the 40s Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday!
Morning starts will be at or below freezing during this same time period. Some models try to show some low pressure development in the Gulf Wednesday and Thursday, which could move some precipitation into the area. It's far too early, however, to know if it will be cold enough for winter precipitation or if precipitation will be able to develop at all. We'll have to watch model runs through the weekend to get more clarity on that situation.
