BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- The site of the former Club Marcella has a new owner.
Seneca Gaming Corporation bought the property at 106 Michigan Ave. President and CEO Kevin Nephew said it was a strategic buy because of its proximity to the casino.
The nightclub was shut down by the the city last year after four shootings. A Buffalo man was sentenced to 22 years to life after fatally shooting a man at the club and injuring two others in 2023.
Nephew says Seneca Gaming is now considering next steps for the site.
