As more details have leaked about the man believed to have set off the Cybertruck explosion just outside Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, disgraced former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) seems to be impressed by him, despite the suspect having committed what may be an act of terrorism.
"The Vegas dude seems like a real CHAD??" said Gaetz, using common internet slang for a person admirable for their traditional masculinity. "So bizarre."
The suspect, Matthew Livelsberger, is a Green Beret from Colorado Springs. Authorities believe he rented the Cybertruck and drove it from his home to Las Vegas before the explosion was set off. Police initially were trying to work out whether this incident was tied to the vehicle-ramming massacre in New Orleans by a suspected ISIS sympathizer. At the moment, they don't believe there's any connection even though both both men served at Fort Liberty in North Carolina, formerly Fort Bragg, and both rented their vehicles from the same service.

Livelsberger's uncle has provided further details on him and expressed confusion over why he could have done this.
“He used to have all patriotic stuff on Facebook, he was 100 percent loving the country,” he said. “He loved Trump, and he was always a very, very patriotic soldier, a patriotic American. It’s one of the reasons he was in Special Forces for so many years. It wasn’t just one tour of duty.”
He also added that he was a "Rambo-type" guy who ought to have been capable of building a more sophisticated bomb than the one in Las Vegas.
"He was what you might call a ‘super soldier.’ If you ever read about the things he was awarded, and the experience he had, some of it doesn’t make sense, when he had the skills and ability to make something more, let’s say, ‘efficient.’ His skills were enormous from what he had been taught in the military," the uncle said.
