NEW YORK (PIX11) – A Florida woman admitted to a local New Jersey hospital for treatment has been missing since Friday, the Newark Police Department announced Tuesday.
Teresa Maki, 26, of West Palm Beach, Fla., arrived at Newark International Airport with a male companion. Police said they were both detained.
Maki was transported to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for evaluation, where she fled care. She may be traveling to Brooklyn, police said.
Maki is described as white, around 4'11" tall, and is believed to weigh 100 pounds with blonde hair. The Florida woman suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, authorities said.
