Far-right MAGA activist and failed Florida congressional candidate Laura Loomer has spent much of the last week attacking tech billionaire Elon Musk. Now, she has set her sights on another billionaire who helped finance President-elect Donald Trump's election.
Loomer took aim at Marc Andreesen after Vice President-elect J.D. Vance backed him up in his accusation that historian Rick Perlstein, who claimed he had expressed gratitude that rural Americans were being pacified with "video games and OxyContin," was a "communist."
"I am admittedly biased, but I'm biased because Marc is a good dude. I don't believe Pearlstein's slander for a second," said Vance.
" (because I like you), Marc is NOT 'a good dude,'" replied Loomer. "Rich. But a terrible person. Also a coward who blocked me. Don’t you just LOVE the Silicon Valley elitists who have been swamping Mar a Lago and soon, the White House?"

She attached a screenshot of an article that showed Andreesen enthusiastically backed Hillary Clinton over Trump in 2016, because his views on immigration make "me sick to my stomach."
Loomer has grown more and more frustrated with the businessmen surrounding Trump, in particular over their support for the H1-B visa program, which has raised the ire of the more nativist wing of the MAGA movement for inviting foreign workers in for high-skilled jobs. She has attacked Musk as a fairweather friend to Trump and a potential threat to national security.
Musk, for his part, has dismissed Loomer's rants as "trolling," and her premium features and monetization on Musk's X platform have reportedly since been suspended, prompting her and other Trump supporters to accuse Musk of suppressing speech critical of him.
