Christina Aguilera Addresses Comments On Her Appearance While Looking Forward to 2025

Christina Aguilera is speaking to those who have said something regarding her appearance.

The 44-year-old “Learning to Fly” singer took to social media to reflect on the past year and looking ahead to 2025.

In a new post shared on New Year’s Eve, Tuesday (December 31), Christina shared a video recap which featured a lot of positive and negative comments about her and her appearance, as well as music and more.

“This year, doing something a little different. This is a reminder to everyone that you are your OWN STORYTELLER in your OWN LIFE. No one else can dictate who you are. No one deserves an explanation,” Christina wrote with the Instagram video. “I am evolved enough to know that nothing comes easy and no one is perfect. Everyone will judge you. No matter WHAT you do. And/ or what you don’t do.”

“Acceptance comes with accepting yourself first. And the difficult journey it takes sometimes to get there,” she continued. “I celebrate everyone taking the time to put one step in front of the next everyday in order to build the next version of themselves for the better. Allowing yourself grace, patience and respect…”

The post also featured a mix of songs, including starting off with the first few lines of Megan Thee Stallion‘s “HISS.”

“I just wanna kick this shit off by sayin’ f–k y’all / I ain’t gotta clear my name on a motherf–kin’ thing / Every time I get mentioned, one of y’all b–ch-a– n- get twenty-four hours of attention / I’m finna get this sh-t off my chest and lay it to rest,” Megan says.

Then part of Little Mix‘s “Wasabi” plays, followed by a spoken element, “Women are always on some level, shamed or labeled, judged. We’re seen as like vessels to please other people. I want to feel good about myself.”
