Gwyneth Paltrow Shares What She's Leaving Behind in 2024 & Her 2025 Goals
Gwyneth Paltrow is sharing what she’s leaving behind.
The 52-year-old actress and Goop founder posted a video on her Instagram on Sunday (December 29) with a list of all she’s “let go of” and leaving behind in 2024.
In the post, she wrote: “My friend got me a numerology reading, and I learned I’m in a nine year, which is year of completions and endings. I had a few very strong lessons around completing certain things. I had a bunch of goodbyes this year. I had some revelations that led to the ends of things.”

“The numerologist contextualized all of this for me, but this year was about learning to understand that it was a year of endings. And that sometimes those endings have been really painful and have come with big change and recalibrations. I’ve learned to loosen my grip on things and deeply learn to let go. And also to understand that everything is always happening for your highest good, even if it’s super uncomfortable,” she continued.
The things she let go of are: “the phase of life where everyone is always under one roof,” along with a photo of her kids Apple Martin, 20, and Moses Martin, 18, dining together at a restaurant.
Other things include “our home,” “some very cherished colleagues,” “Los Angeles” and “a dog????,” including a photo of herself lying next to her dog named Nero.
“Some people who were not right for me,” she added, along with “the idea that I can correct misperceptions and “believing self-limiting beliefs,” noting she was “still working on.”
“In 2025 I would like to…” she went on to write, including goals like “feel better” and “crush it at work,” as well as “continue to be able to have tough conversations,” “continuously reassess everything,” “look at things in a new way” and “surprise myself.”
She also reflected on her parents’ “scandalous” marriage.
