Hamas spied on Israel for 7 years using security cameras & even a kindergarten, before Oct 7 massacre, seized docs show

DESPICABLE Hamas terrorists spent seven years spying on Israel through hacked security cameras before October 7, claim seized docs.

The terror group slaughtered over 1,200 people in the horrifying calculated massacre – with a new report piecing together how they pulled it off.

The attack on innocent Israelis came after extensive footage and information was gathered by the leaders of Hamas, according to the report in Israeli media.

They were able to watch their future victims go about their daily lives by hacking into security cameras in border towns and identify vulnerable spots open to attack.

Among these details included information on an Israeli kindergarten as well as a health clinic which helped to uncover further personal information.

They also got their hands on private IP addresses and serial numbers of dozens of security cameras in communities which were directly targeted on October 7, the report added.

The terror group additionally infiltrated emails from top security officials who worked close to the border where the attacks targeted.

This access allowed them to scour out the weakest points along the region that often lacked support and extra mobilised units, the report claimed.

One email they are said to have discovered had been intercepted spoke about IDF forces asking for extra security fencing in the months before October.

Several documents seized from the evil operatives are believed to have shown the extensive work undertaken prior to the massacre.

This spying on the kibbutzim went on for at least seven years, local Channel 12 reports.

Former top Israeli spy chief for Shen Bet, Shalom Ben Hanan, told the news channel he was shocked by the information uncovered.

He said: “We see a very, very accurate and very detailed intelligence from an army that collects intelligence on its targets for attack and is preparing files for attack.”

Hanan added that prior to October 7, officials mainly regarded Hamas as a minor threat to civilians compared to other Iranian proxies.

The damming report was aired alongside harrowing footage showing some of the surveillance clips from areas which were hacked.

Many of these were communities along the border which would later go on to be invaded and left in bloodshed.

Israeli officials believe Hamas operatives accessed the cameras as unaware civilians were freely sharing access codes on WhatsApp and Telegram.

These were easily intercepted and reportedly allowed them to hack into the software.

Former Eshkol Regional Council head Gadi Yarkoni believes the IDF should have been aware of potential breaches and warned officials at risk.

He believes he was a “marked” target for Hamas since terrorists are said to have stormed his old family home on October 7.

Yarkoni had moved in the years prior meaning he wasn’t captured.

Other officials weren’t as lucky with Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council chair Ofir Libstein being brutally slain in the attack.

The IDF has yet to respond to the local report.

Hamas’ horror October 7 plot escaped Israeli spies in a catastrophic security failure that sparked over a year of unprecedented chaos, experts told The Sun.

It was the catalyst that plunged four nations – Israel, Palestine, Lebanon and Iran – into war.

Killing tens of thousands and marking a historic shift in the Middle East.

Experts branded the spiralling situation in the Middle East as “one of the biggest human rights crises in the world”.

Catastrophic security failure

BACK in September an IDF report found that 6,000 fighters from Gaza managed to get into Israel on October 7, 2023.

The horrors of that day sparked the 15-month conflict – still raging in the Middle East as the IDF attempts to obliterate Hamas.

Netanyahu has rejected calls – including from his own government – for an investigation into the security failings that led to October 7 – saying he wants to win the war first.

Professor Bruce Riedel said: “There certainly was from everything we know, a lot of warning indicators that the Israeli intelligence community, or at least parts of it, were very concerned.

“But the Israeli government itself doesn’t seem to have taken it very seriously.

“That is a perennial problem for intelligence agencies. In this case, it led to a disaster.”

Kristyan Benedict, Crisis Response Manager for Amnesty International UK, also spoke about a public inquiry into the security failings.

He said: “That should happen, given the scale of killing against Israelis, the hostage taking, the people who have been injured, people who have been displaced.

“The Israeli government owes it to their citizens to ensure there’s proper transparency and accountability for what looks like a massive security failure.

“There is a sort of review going on across all relevant security, military, political aspects of the Israeli government.”

An investigation by the New York Times revealed that documents, emails and interviews show Israel was aware of Hamas’ plan for October 7 over a year before it happened.

Military and intelligence top brass dismissed the plans as aspirational, believing it was too hard for Hamas to carry out.

The newspaper saw a 40-page document which outlined a step-by-step plan of the kind of invasion that would later kill more than 1,000 people.

Israel’s domestic intelligence unit Shin Bet reportedly discussed a possible threat to the Nova festival hours before Hamas hit on October 7 – but festival officials were not warned, Haaretz reports.

Egypt – previously a mediator between Hamas and Israel – said it repeatedly warned the Israeli government that the terror group was planning “something big” before October 7.

Chairman of the US House Foreign Affairs Committee Michael McCaul said: “We know that Egypt has warned the Israelis three days prior that an event like this could happen.”

In the year before the attack Hamas posted videos online of its terrorists gearing up to attack Israel, completing drills and even using paragliders, CNN reports.

Bruce Riedel, who spent 30 years in the CIA including a stint in Israel at the Tel Aviv embassy, said: “We’ve never seen anything like this in Israeli history.”

Earlier this year, it was revealed Hamas originally planned a giant large-scale assault inside Israel which included a 9/11-style terror attack on skyscrapers in Tel Aviv.

Bombshell documents recovered by the IDF reportedly revealed Hamas’ top brass was looking to inflict “an unprecedented crisis” akin to the September 11 attacks.

IDF forces discovered the digital and paper records from Hamas command centres in Gaza last November, according to the Washington Post.

A worrying 17,000 images were said to be included in the database of evidence believed to be made around September 2022.

The IDF have said they even foiled a Hamas terrorist bid to unleash mayhem among mourners at an October 7 anniversary vigil this year.

Israeli spotters were said to have detected threats from Gaza close to events where a thousand relatives of Nova Festival victims had gathered.

Commanders feared rockets were being prepared to explode among those gathered to grieve in southern Israel’s Negev Desert.

But the terror attack was suppressed by withering artillery plus drone and air strikes directed at rocket launch sites in the terrorist enclave.
