We update the 2025 NFL playoff bracket following Week 17.
Heading into Week 18, it’s time to take a look at what the 2024 playoffs might actually look like. Several of the teams in question are already locked in, but none of the matchups are actually set in stone, with movement potential in the wild card positioning.
The Kansas City Chiefs have secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC. The Detroit Lions play their Week 17 game on Monday night and win will flip them with the Minnesota Vikings in the bracket. If the Lions beat the San Francisco 49ers on Monday, they will be able to clinch the No. 1 seed in Week 18 with a win.
In the AFC, the Buffalo Bills have clinched the No. 2 seed and the Houston Texans have clinched the No. 4 seed. The division winner between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers will secure the No. 3 seed.
