If the Buchanan injury is as bad as it looks, I'd be very surprised if we didn't move to sign a left-back this transfer window.
Khela clearly isn't a full-back and Laird's ability going forward is wasted on the left when he has to cut back onto his stronger foot to cross or pass.
Are there any players available who'd be a decent alternative to Cochrane? Can we bring anyone in on loan or will it need to be a permanent signing?
